Central Hospital (Railway), Gadag Road, Hubballi has been accredited by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in the specialty of DNB General Medicine (2 seats per year) for 5 years from January 2021 to January 2025.
DNB is a PG Course after MBBS of 3 years duration. The selection of candidates will be through NEET at all India level Counselling.
For classroom teaching (course work) along with in-house resources, there will be a tie-up with KIMS, Hubballi. Senior Consultants of Central Hospital Dr. Shivayogi, MD (Medicine) and Dr. Shivkumar, MD(Medicine) have been approved by NBEMS, for the General Medicine PG Programme.
‘The accreditation is valid for 5 years and will be reviewed annually by NBEMS, for further renewal’ stated SWR in a press release.
