‘Smart market’ developed at Bengeri by Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL) will be inaugurated by Dr. Halappa Achar, Minister of Mines and Geology, Government of Karnataka today.
HDSCL has built the market at a cost of ₹ 6.41 crores. Spread across 3 acres, the market can also be used for Cultural events barring Saturday when it will only be available to vegetable and fruit vendors.
Apart from it, a Mobile Library will also be inaugurated at the same event. HDSCL has spent ₹25 Lakhs on the same. Read more about Smart City Projects in Hubballi Dharwad here.
Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi, Byrati Basavaraj (Minister of Urban Development), Dharwad MLA’s Jagadish Shettar, Prasad Abbayya, Dharwad DC Nitesh Patil, and others will be present during the event.
