Progress of 45 Amrit Bharat Railway Stations in SWR limits

South Western Railway (SWR) is redeveloping or improving the infrastructure of 45 railway stations within its limits under Phase 2 of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).

15 railway stations under Hubballi division are being redeveloped at a cost of ₹257.55 Crores, while 15 and 15 railway stations under Bengaluru and Mysuru division at a cost of ₹324.24 Crores and ₹378.79 Crores respectively. Total: 960.58 Crores.

The improvements include the Construction of new station buildings, Platform shelters, Foot overbridges (FOBs), Lifts, Escalators, and Improvements to the circulating areas.

Hubballi Division: Gadag – Project cost: 23.24 Cr, 78% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 61.37 %. Construcion of FOB is under progress.

Dharwad: Project cost: 17.1 Cr, 78% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 59.22%. Construction of Platform shelter is in progress.

Alnavar: Project cost: 17.2 Cr, 68% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 50.6%. Main building and Parking area is under construction.

Gokak Road: Project cost: 16.98 Cr, 48% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 35.22%. Main building and Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Koppal: Project cost: 21.14 Cr, 73% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 58.31 %. Foundation for staircase columns and Plastering work is in progress.

Hospet: Project cost: 15.17 Cr, 46% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 40.5%. Platform shelter and Ceiling work for VIP room is in progress.

Ballari: Project cost: 16.66 Cr, 64% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 51.26%. Renovation of interiors is in progress.

Sanvordem: Project cost: 15.6 Cr, 54% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 39.24%. Main building is under construction.

Munirabad: Project cost: 18.4 Cr, 78% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 67.4%. Main building is under construction.

Ghataprabha: Project cost: 18.15 Cr, 73% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 47.3%. Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Belagavi: Project cost: 15.3 Cr, 25% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 18.75%. Watring arrangements is in progress in road 1 and 2.

Almatti: Project cost: 15.21 Cr, 58% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 42.72%. Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Badami: Project cost: 15.1 Cr, 54% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 40.9%. Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Bagalkot: Project cost: 16.06 Cr, 65% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 49.36%. Main building and Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Vijayapura: Project cost: 16.24 Cr, 30% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 23.2%. Platform shelter construction is in progress.

Mysuru Division: Arsikere – Project cost: 42.08 Cr, 42% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 12%. New Station Building Block A&B is in progress.

Bantwala: Project cost: 28.49 Cr, 47% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 19%. Main building first floor block work and reinforcement work is in progress.

Chamarajnagar: Project cost: 24.58 Cr, 40% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 21%. PF 1, 2 & 3 End Platform Shelter Erection is in progress.

Chikkamagaluru: Project cost: 22.94 Cr, 50% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 18%. Platform Shelter Work- End platform PF1 and Island platform 2 & 3 is in progress.

Chitradurga: Project cost: 11.78 Cr, 30% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 19%. Station building Block – A Column work, Station Building Block – B Plinth Beam Work is in progress.

Davanagere: Project cost: 18.1 Cr, 47% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 26%. Dismantling of Structures for Platform Extension is in progress.

Harihara: Project cost: 21.61 Cr, 44% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 19%. New Station building work- Block -C and Platform Shelter Erection is in progress.

Hassan: Project cost: 24.55 Cr, 38% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 20%. Parking Area – Roof Slab Shuttering and GRPF-External Plastering Work is in progress.

Ranebennur: Project cost: 25.51 Cr, 54% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 18%. Station Building Extension work, Approach Road and Drain Work is in progress.

Sagara Jambagaru: Project cost: 26.44 Cr, 35% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 10%. Platform shelter – End Platform-2 and Construction of Waiting hall in progress.

Sakleshpur: Project cost: 28.69 Cr, 30% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 18%. Station Building First Floor Block Work and Platform Shelter – Island PF 2&3 in progress.

Subramanya Road: Project cost: 26.16 Cr, 44% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 23%. Station Canteen Slab Work and Platform shelter work on PF 2&3 in progress.

Talaguppa: Project cost: 27.86 Cr, 40% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 14%. Waiting room and toilet block, Station Building Roof Slab Curing in progress.

Tiptur: Project cost: 25.63 Cr, 30% of the physical work has been completed. Financial progress: 11%. Block Work in Extension of Station building and Platform shelter work – End PF1 in progress.

Bengaluru Division: Bangarpet (NSG-3), with a total project cost of ₹21.59 Cr, the station has achieved 22% physical progress and 9.26% financial progress, amounting to ₹2.00 Cr.

Channapatna (NSG-4) is progressing steadily, with 33% physical completion and 27.42% of financial targets met, out of a total cost of ₹20.93 Cr, which equals ₹5.74 Cr in financial progress.

Dharmapuri (NSG-5) has completed 28% of the work, with ₹2.70 Cr spent, representing 12.65% financial progress from the total allocated ₹21.34 Cr.

 In Doddaballapur (NSG-5), the station upgrade is 25% complete physically, with 13.92% financial progress, equating to ₹3.54 Cr of the ₹25.42 Cr budget.

Meanwhile, at Hindupur(NSG-4), the ongoing work has achieved 28% physical progress and 17.06% financial completion, corresponding to ₹4.09 Cr out of the total ₹23.97 Cr.

The works at Hosur(NSG-4), with a total cost of ₹22.35 Cr, have reached 30% physical progress and 11.90% financial progress, with ₹2.66 Cr expended.

Kengeri (NSG-3), with an allocated budget of ₹21.02 Cr, has completed 37% of its physical works and has achieved 20.45% financial progress, equivalent to ₹4.30 Cr.

The developments at Krishnarajapuram(NSG-3) are advancing with 27% of the project physically complete and ₹2.50 Cr spent, representing 11.84% of the total ₹21.11 Cr.

In Kuppam(NSG-4), the project has attained 37% physical completion, and 21.98% of the allocated ₹17.60 Cr has been utilized, translating to ₹3.87 Cr in financial progress.

Malleshwaram (NSG-5) has made strong headway, completing 35% of the physical works and 32.08% financially, spending ₹6.00 Cr of the total ₹19.95 Cr budget.

Malur (NSG-4), with a total project cost of ₹20.44 Cr, has reached 40% physical completion and 20.54% financial progress, representing ₹4.20 Cr spent so far.

At Mandya(NSG-3), 32% of the work has been completed, with ₹5.79 Cr spent out of the total ₹20.11 Cr budget, achieving 28.79% financial progress.

Ramanagar (NSG-4) is progressing well, with 42% physical progress and ₹5.43 Cr of the ₹20.96 Cr budget utilized, marking 25.90% financial progress.

Tumkur (NSG-4) has seen the most significant advancement, with 45% of the work completed and 24.27% of the ₹24.18 Cr financial target met, totaling ₹5.87 Cr.

Lastly, Whitefield(NSG-4), with a total project cost of ₹23.37 Cr, has achieved 33% physical completion and ₹6.00 Cr financial progress, representing 25.67%.
