NWKRTC starts Pallakki buses from Hubballi and Shirdi

In a positive development, the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has started operating Pallakki non-AC sleeper buses from Hubballi to Shirdi via Dharwad, Belagavi and Pune.

Pallakki buses are the luxurious non-ac Sleeper buses recently introduced by KSRTC. NWKRTC has already received 4 Pallakki buses, and 6 more will arrive by the month’s end.

Hubballi to Shirdi Pallakki non-ac Sleeper bus departs Hubballi New Bus stand at 8:08 PM and reaches Shirdi at 8:44 AM on the next day. The bus will operate daily.

On the return journey, the bus from Shirdi departs at 8:00 PM and arrives in Hubballi at 7:00 AM the next day. The fare for a one-way trip is fixed at ₹1300 by NWKRTC.

Shirdi is a popular pilgrimage centre due to the famous Shirdi Sai Baba temple, which attracts pilgrims throughout the year. The bus is receiving an excellent response, with seats for January 21st almost sold out.

Speciality of the Pallakki buses: The buses are equipped with 30 sleeper berths with a facility to charge mobile and laptops. The buses have dedicated shoe racks and mobile holders.

The buses have advanced fire detection and suppression systems installed. Additionally, a voice address system is available for the convenience of passengers.

The buses have been given a tagline ‘for Pleasant and Safe ride’. The refreshing livery and the cosy interiors are getting widespread appreciation from the passengers.
