KSRTC starts Pallakki buses between Mangalore and Hubballi

In a positive development, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has started Pallakki non-ac sleeper buses between Hubballi and Mangalore.

Pallakki buses are the luxurious non-ac Sleeper buses recently introduced by KSRTC. The move is aimed at providing a comfortable travel experience to the passengers.

KSRTC has started Pallakki buses from Mangalore to Talikoti and Gangavati via Hubballi. The buses have perfect timing for the journey between Hubballi and Mangalore.

However in the return direction, the arrival timings at Hubballi from Mangalore are at odd hours. Details of the same, price and features of the buses are as follows.

Mangalore to Talikoti bus departs Mangalore bus stand at 6:30 PM and reaches Hubballi at 2:45 AM. The bus on its onward journey reaches Talikoti at 7:00 AM.

In the return direction, Talikoti to Mangalore bus departs Talikoti at 5:01 PM and reaches Hubballi at 10:45 PM. The bus on its onward journey reaches Mangalore at 6:45 AM.

Mangalore to Gangavathi bus departs Mangalore bus stand at 8:00 PM and reaches Hubballi at 3:45 AM. The bus on its onward journey reaches Gangavathi at 7:30 AM.

In the return direction, Gangavathi to Mangalore bus departs Gangavathi at 6:31 PM and reaches Hubballi at 10:00 PM. The bus on its onward journey reaches Mangalore at 6:30 AM.

Features of the Pallakki buses: The buses are equipped with 30 sleeper berths with a facility to charge mobile and laptops. The buses have dedicated shoe racks and mobile holders.

The buses have been equipped with state-of-the-art Fire detection and suppression systems. A voice address system is provided for the convenience of the passengers.

The buses have been given a tagline of ‘Happiness is travelling’. The refreshing livery and the cozy interiors are getting widespread appreciation from the passengers.

KSRTC has fixed a fare of ₹818 for the journey between Hubballi and Mangalore. The fare between Mangalore to Talikoti and Gangavathi is ₹1315 and ₹1131 respectively.

North Western Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) will get 4 numbers of European-style Multi axle AC Sleeper buses soon. NWKRTC will also procure 20 Pallakki-type Non-AC sleeper buses.
