There is some good news for people travelling between Bengaluru and Hubballi. South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to operate 2 more trains between Bengaluru and Hubballi.
Union Minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi said that the new trains have been arranged to cater to the growing demand from the passengers of the region.
SWR has decided to operate One overnight train and one Day train between Bengaluru and Hubballi with effect from March 20. The schedule and other details are as follows.
Train number 07339 Hubballi Bengaluru Daily express special departs Hubballi at 11:15 PM and reaches Bengaluru at 6:50 AM. The trains will be operated on TOD (Train on Demand) basis.
In the return direction, Train number 07340 Bengaluru Hubballi Daily express special leaves Bengaluru at 11:55 PM and reaches Hubballi at 7:30 AM on the next day.
The train will have a composition of 16 coaches including One 2-tier AC coach, Two 3-tier AC Coaches, 7 Sleeper coaches, 4 General section, and Two SLR coaches.
The train will operate from 20th March 2023 till 27th July 2023. Primary maintenance of the train will be at Hubballi, and Secondary maintenance will be performed at Bengaluru.
Another train Bengaluru to Hubballi Daily Express (Train number 07354) leaves Bengaluru at 7:45 AM and reaches Hubballi at 2:30 PM. This train acts as a Day train between the two cities.
In the return direction, Train number 07353 Hubballi Bengaluru Daily express leaves Hubballi at 3:15 PM and reaches Bengaluru at 11:10 PM. The train will be operated on TOD basis.
The train will have a composition of 16 coaches including One 2-tier AC coach, Two 3-tier AC Coaches, 7 Sleeper coaches, 4 General section, and Two SLR coaches.

Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi has thanked Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for responding to his request and ordering to start these new train services.

It will be better should Train No. 07353 Depart from SSS UBL @14.30 Hrs and Reach KSR SBC # 22.00 Hrs so that travelling public can reach their respective destinatio/houses with out any inconvenience as Public Road Transport id difficult to get after 23.00 Hrs…. Also, Train with seating arrangement od 2S + AC Chair car is much better… Let the overnight Trains have accommodation of AC 2 Ties + AC 3 Tier+ Sleeper Class besides General 2S coaches.. It will be much better both Overnight and Day Trains are made on daily besides, not on ToD basis.. Regards… B B Patil
Good step by Dept, & requesting to the concerned authority, think of operating additional train Hubli-Hyderabad, if not additional attachment of boxes at Kalaburagi station is must for day today’s requirement.
