Golgumbaz Express likely to be extended to Pandharpur soon

South Western Railway (SWR) is likely to extend Mysuru to Solapur Golgumbaz Express (Train number 16535/16536) from Solapur to Pandharpur soon. The details of the same are given below.

Pandharpur is a major holy place in Maharashtra and it is also called South Kashi (Dakshina Kashi) in Maharashtra. It is famous for the Lord Vittala temple situated on the bank of the Bhima River.

The railway board has approved the extension of the Golgumbaz Express to Pandharpur. The board has insisted to extend the train services at the earliest convenient date.

Train number 16535 leaves Mysuru at 3:45 PM and reaches Pandharpur at 12:25 PM on the next day. SWR will provide a stoppage at Kurduvadi on the extended section.

The train reaches SSS Hubballi Railway Station at 2:55 AM and proceeds towards Pandharpur at 3:05 AM as per the expected new timetable of the Golgumbaz Express.

En route, the train stops at Pandhavpur, Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagara, Bidadi, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwantpur, Tumkur, Tiptur, Arsikere, Birur, Chikkajajur, Davanagere, Harihar.

Ranebennur, Haveri, Hubballi, Annigeri, Gadag, Hole Alur, Badami, Guledagudda Road, Bagalkot, Almatti, Basavana Bagewadi Road, Vijayapura, Indi Road, Solapur, Kurduvadi and terminates at Pandharpur.

In the return direction, Train number 16536 leaves Pandharpur at 1:00 PM and reaches Mysuru at 10:45 AM on the next day. The stoppages will remain the same.

The train reaches SSS Hubballi Railway Station at 11:30 PM and proceeds towards Mysuru Railway Station at 11:50 PM as per the expected new timetable of the Golgumbaz Express.
