Government of Karnataka has accorded administrative approval for the same under the Implementation of Energy Efficiency in Street Lighting project.
The project will be undertaken at an estimated cost of ₹93.57 Crores. Hubballi Dharwad will also get a Centralized Control & Monitoring System (CCMS) to turn on/off streetlights.
