Dharwad district gets 27 Ventilators under PMCares fund

Dharwad district has received 27 Ventilators under PMCares funds. The ventilators were received at KIMS, Hubballi today and were handed over to the hospital for the treatment of needy persons.

Union Minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi had requested the state government to provide Ventilators as soon as possible to treat Covid-19 patients. Each ventilator costs around 3 to 3.5 Lakhs.

Announcing the same on Twitter, Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi said that ‘Dharwad DC, KIMS director, and other senior medical officers had brought the requirement of Ventilator to my notice’.

‘Addition of Ventilators will definitely help in the treatment of poor people. I would like to thank the Central and State Government for responding to my request and providing Ventilators’ he added.
