B.V.Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubballi has organized BVB Amrit Mahotsava to celebrate its 75th year of providing quality education to budding engineers.
To mark the event, the college has organized Global Alumni Meet 2023 from 27th January to 29th January. The meet will be a fantastic opportunity for alumni to catch up on old times.
Ashok Shettar, Vice Chancellor of the KLE Technological University said that “It is an opportunity for alumni to see how our alma mater has grown and transformed over the years”.
The Amrit Mahotsava meet has also organized panel discussions on various topics such as the Role of Alumni in building future KLE Tech, etc. Also, Cultural programs have been organized. Details are as follows.
Day 1 – 27th January: Samskrutika Balaga by Kannada Balaga, Sakhare Ground (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM). Western Classical Music concert by Taufiq Qureshi (6:00 PM to 9:30 PM).
Day 2 – 28th January: Address by Smt. Sudha Murthy, Shri Basavaraj Bommai, Shri Murugesh Nirani, Dr. Prabhakar Kore (3 PM to 4 PM) followed by a Panel discussion on “Role of Alumni in building future KLE Tech”. Musical concert by Ms Sunidhi Chauhan (6:00 PM to 9:30 PM).
Day 3 – 29th January: Morning Session – Technical talk on Factories of the Future by Lokesh Payik. Journey of Entrepreneurship by Umesh Vaidyamath, Girish Shirigannavar, Panel discussion on B2B opportunities in USA for Indian entrepreneurs”.
The college has invited Sonam Wangchuk, Innovator and Engineer and Education reformist (3 idiots movie fame) to address the attendees. Location: Sports Complex (2:35 PM to 3:45 PM).
BVB College of Engineering and Technology (now KLE Technological University) was established in 1947 with the aspiration of creating an institution that would lay the foundation of Modern engineering education in North Karnataka.
