Bhoomi Pooja done for 100 Bed Makeshift Hospital

Union Minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi performed Bhoomi Pooja of 100 Bed Makeshift Hospital (to treat Covid-19 patients) being constructed at KIMS Campus in Hubballi. Vedanta Group is constructing the hospital as part of the CSR initiative.

Out of 100 beds, 10 beds will have Ventilator facility and 20 will have ICU Facilities. Construction of the hospital will be completed in the next 15 days. Doctors and Nursing staff will be provided by the District Administration. The entire Infrastructure will be constructed by Vedanta Group.

Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi had requested the Chairman of Vedanta group Anil Agarwal to set up a Makeshift Hospital at Hubballi keeping in mind the increasing Covid Cases. Anil Agarwal had agreed to set up a 100 Bed Makeshift Hospital with Oxygen Provision.

The addition of this new facility will help Covid Patients of the District and also the patients who are coming to Hubballi from Neighboring Districts. Pralhad Joshi has thanked Vedanta Group for supporting the District Administration on this noble cause.
