The first event as part of the Beyond Bengaluru initiative will take place at Hubballi on 5th October 2021. The Hubballi conference of the initiative has been arranged at Denissons Hotel, Hubballi in a hybrid manner.
The event will see the convergence of Technologies, Experts, and Organizations. The conference will provide pitching opportunities for investments in sectors like Agri-tech, Ed-tech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biotech, etc.
Beyond Bengaluru is an initiative by the Government of Karnataka to promote emerging Technology Clusters in Tier 2/3 cities of the state. The initiative is expected to encourage IT/ESDM companies to spread their wings in Tier 2/3 cities.
The event will be kickstarted at 10 AM showcasing the City liveability and Ease of doing Business at the Hubballi–Dharwad–Belagavi cluster followed by a presentation on Bengaluru Tech Summit-2021.
After the keynote address, the topic Agri-tech as a service: flight towards innovation will be taken up for discussions. After the lunch break, 2 more topics viz Artificial Intelligence for data solutions, and Industry 4.0: Exploring new horizons in Manufacturing/Industrial Automation will be discussed.
The event is aimed at showcasing the Hubballi–Dharwad–Belagavi cluster as a benchmark in doing business and liveability. The event will be a thought-provoking day for all tech enthusiasts.

The main speakers of the event include Shri Basavaraj Bommai: honorable CM of Karnataka, Union minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi, Dr. Ashwath Narayan CN: Honourable minister Electronics and IT BT, Former CM Jagadish Shettar, Shankar Patil Munenakoppa, Arvind Bellad, and Prasad Abbayya.
Apart from them, many renowned industrialists from the Hubballi Dharwad region will participate in the event. Dharwad DC Nitesh Patil will participate in the event as a speaker.
Beyond Bengaluru programmes will be held in Mysuru and Mangaluru apart from Hubballi. The program in each city will be a hybrid, one-day conference with industry leaders and others coming together to share their stories and ignite the next wave of development.
