The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of June 2023. As per the report; 30,761 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of June-2023.
Hubballi Airport registered a decrease of 8.2% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 33,509 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of May-2023.
The airport registered 498 flight movements in the month of June-2023. Hubballi had handled 572 flights in May-2023. A decrease of 12.93% in flight movements is observed.
The airport handled 8 MT of Cargo in the month of June-2023. Hubballi had handled 4 MT of Cargo during May-2023. Hubballi Airport has doubled the Cargo handling compared to the last month.

During the same month last year (June-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 448 flight movements and 23,852 passengers. The airport had handled 4 MT of Cargo during the same month.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
