Tolanakere Park, one of the most famous recreational places in Hubballi city will be closed for 5 days starting from today (21st November to 25th November 2022).
Some of the visitors had complained about the poor condition of the Open Gym, Mismanagement of Washrooms, Poor condition of Footpath surrounding the garden, and the road near the entrance of the Park.
Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL) has undertaken some maintenance works to address the issues. Here is a glimpse of the work undertaken near the entrance of Tolanakere Park.
Twitter user Citizen of Planet Earth (@COPlanetEarth), took to Twitter to express his displeasure about the poor condition of the Washroom by posting a few pictures of it.
Another user Anil Murshilly had complained about the Open Gym at Tolanakere. He had said that gym equipment foundations are loose and it needs some maintenance work.
Another Twitter user, Vijesh K Poojari (@VijeshKPoojari1) posted pictures of the poor condition of the Footpaths surrounding the Garden.
“Potholes on road are old fashion, but Potholes on the footpath is new fashion” he added by tagging a few Twitter accounts of Hubballi Dharwad and HDMC.
Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL) had undertaken the Re-development of Tolanakere and the park adjacent to it at a cost of ₹15.57 Crores. The park was thrown open to the public recently.
The park has become a Center of Attraction among the citizens of Hubballi. Hope HDSCL rectifies all the issues at the earliest and makes the experience of every visitor a memorable one.
