Karnataka Unlock 4.0 Update: The Karnataka Government has released Unlock guidelines effective from July 19th, 6 AM. The new guidelines will be effective in entire Karnataka upto 6 AM of August 2.
The Government has reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the State. It has been observed that the number of Active Cases, as well as Positivity Rate, have been consistently decreasing.
The health experts had suggested Opening up of few more activities with focused measures and strict adherence to Covid Appropriate Behavior in the interest of the public.
As per Karnataka Unlock 4.0 guidelines, Night Curfew will continue to be imposed from 10 PM to 5 AM in the state strictly adhering to Covid Appropriate Behavior.
Cinema Halls/ Multiplexes/ Theatres/ Rangamandiras/Auditoriums and similar places are permitted to operate with 50% of its seating capacity strictly adhering to Covid Appropriate behavior and SOPs issued by the Government.
Colleges and Educational Institutions will be permitted to re-open from 26/7/2021, strictly adhering to Covid Appropriate Behaviour and SOPs/guidelines issued by the concerned Department.
Only Students, Teaching and Non-teaching/Other staff who have taken at least one dose of Vaccine will be allowed to attend the colleges/institutions. Attendance of students will be optional.
All Skill Development training including long-term Technical Courses is permitted strictly adhering to Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Teaching and Non-teaching/Other staff who have taken at least one dose of Vaccine will be allowed to attend the college.
Special surveillance measures for persons coming from Maharashtra and Kerala states will continue to be in force until further orders.
The Karnataka Unlock 4.0 Guidelines will apply to all districts of Karnataka (including Kodagu district considering it has shown a declining Positivity Rate) stated P.Ravikumar, Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka in a press release.
