There is some good news for the people of Hubballi Dharwad! Hubballi Dharwad will soon have a Full Ring Road thereby reducing the traffic congestion in the twin cities.
Central government has released ₹41 Lakhs to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the work of the Full Ring Road from Kusugal to Narendra Cross.
As per the plan, A new Bypass will be constructed for Hubballi Dharwad cities by connecting NH-218 (Near Kusugal) and NH-48 (near Narendra on the outskirts of Dharwad city).
Union minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi announced the same through his social media handles. He urged the state government to prepare DPR at the earliest.
Once the above bypass is constructed, the alignment of the same is such that it completes the Full ring road for Hubballi Dharwad. That will reduce a lot of traffic congestion in city limits.
The above bypass with the 6-laned Hubballi Dharwad Dharwad bypass and Hubballi Semi Ring Road (or Half Ring Road) will act as Full Ring Road for Hubballi Dharwad.

A Semi Ring Road is already operational in Hubballi city. Hubballi Semi Ring Road (or Half Ring Road) connects three highways viz NH-218, NH-63, and NH-48 outside Hubballi city limits.
