The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of January 2024. As per the report; 31,502 passengers used Hubli Airport in the month of January 2024.
Hubballi Airport registered 8.84% decrease as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 34,557 passengers had used Hubli Airport in the month of December 2023.
The airport registered 398 flight movements in the month of January-2024. Hubli had handled 382 flights in December-2023. An increase of 4.18% in flight movements is observed.
The airport handled 26 MT of Cargo in the month of January-2024. Hubli had handled 17 MT of Cargo during December-2023. A mammoth increase of 52.94% in Cargo load is observed.
During the same month last year (January-2023), Hubballi Airport had handled 536 flight movements and 32,469 passengers. The airport had handled 5 MT of Cargo during the same month.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Delhi and Mumbai sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Also, IndiGo has restarted Hubli to Pune direct flight effective from February 2. The airline is operating Hubli to Pune flight 4 days/ week. More details on it here.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
