28,885 passengers used Hubballi Airport in August 2023

The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of August 2023. As per the report; 28,885 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of August 2023.

Hubballi Airport registered a decrease of 1.49% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 29,323 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of July 2023.

The airport registered 418 flight movements in the month of August-2023. Hubballi had handled 410 flights in July-2023. An increase of 1.019% in flight movements is observed.

The airport handled 12 MT of Cargo in the month of August-2023. Hubballi had handled 7 MT of Cargo during July-2023. An increase of 71.42% in Cargo load is observed.

During the same month last year (August-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 443 flight movements and 23,670 passengers. The airport had handled 4 MT of Cargo during the same month.

IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
