66 Bed Makeshift Hospital inaugurated at KIMS Campus

A 66 Bed Makeshift Hospital was inaugurated today at KIMS Campus, Hubballi by Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi. The hospital has been built under State Disaster Management funds. The Makeshift Hospital has been built to treat Covid Patients.

The Hospital has 3 units, each comprising of 22 beds. The construction of the hospital was completed in just 10 days. The hospital is equipped with Oxygen facilities to treat Covid Patients.

Another 100 Bed Hospital is currently under construction at KIMS Campus itself by the Vedant Group. The Hospital will have 10 Ventilator Beds and 20 ICU beds. The construction of the hospital is expected to be completed soon.

Owing to rising Covid-19 cases, the District administration is taking all necessary steps to tackle the pandemic. District Incharge Minister Shri Jagadish Shettar, Hubballi Dharwad East MLA Shri Prasad Abbayya, Dharwad DC Shri Nitesh Patil, and others were present.
