Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pair wise Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of August-2022.
According to the data released, 23,969 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport and around 1.3 Tonnes of Cargo and 3.2 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.
Bengaluru sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 9,794 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,845 passengers arrived and 4,949 passengers departed).
Bengaluru sector also contributed the highest cargo shipment from Hubballi Airport. A total of 3.2 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted including 2.5 Tonnes of Mail.
3,339 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,665 passengers arrived and 1,674 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 1.1 tonnes of Cargo including 0.7 Tonnes of Mail.
4,079 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (2,080 passengers arrived and 1,999 passengers departed). Mumbai sector sector recorded 0.1 tonnes of Cargo.
Hyderabad sector had 1,833 arriving passengers and 1,896 departing passengers including and 0.1 Tonnes of Cargo. Hindon (Delhi) sector had 794 arriving passengers and 765 departing passengers from HBX.
Mangalore sector saw 393 arriving passengers and 409 departing passengers. Mysuru sector had 272 arriving passengers and 395 departing passengers from HBX.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of Ahmedabad, Kochi and Goa sectors and adding few other potential sectors like Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
