Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pair wise Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of July-2022.
According to the data released, 23,598 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport and around 2 Tonnes of Cargo and 3.4 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.
Bengaluru sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 10,145 passengers used Hubballi Airport (5,025 passengers arrived and 5,120 passengers departed).
Bengaluru sector also contributed the highest cargo shipment from Hubballi Airport. A total of 3.2 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted including 2.4 Tonnes of Mail.
3,304 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,664 passengers arrived and 1,640 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 1.9 tonnes of Cargo including 0.8 Tonnes of Mail.
4,100 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (2,170 passengers arrived and 1,930 passengers departed). Mumbai sector sector recorded 0.1 tonnes of Cargo.
Hyderabad sector had 1,564 arriving passengers and 1,957 departing passengers including 0.2 Tonnes of Mail. Hindon (Delhi) sector had 776 arriving passengers and 758 departing passengers from HBX.
Mangalore sector saw 232 arriving passengers and 198 departing passengers. Mysuru sector had 219 arriving passengers and 345 departing passengers from HBX.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of Ahmedabad, Kochi and Goa sectors and adding few other potential sectors like Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
