South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run SMVT Bengaluru to Madgaon one-way special train via Hubballi Dharwad to clear the festival rush. Details are as follows.
Train number 01685 departs SMVT Bengaluru at 6:00 AM on November 4th, 2024 and reaches Madgaon at 7:35 PM on the same day. Travel time: 13 hours and 35 minutes.
The train reaches Hubballi Railway Station at 2:40 PM and departs at 2:50 PM. The train reaches Dharwad Railway Station at 3:13 PM and departs at 3:15 PM.
En route, the train stops at Chikkabanavar, Tumkur, Arsikere, Birur, Davanagere, Ranebennur, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Castlerock, Kulem, Sanvordem and terminates at Madgaon.
The train consists of 20 LHB coaches including 1 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 2 AC 3-tier Economy, 8 Sleeper class, 4 General class, 1 Second class Divyang coach and 1 Luggage cum Generator van.
Booking for the same is already open at the IRCTC website https://www.irctc.co.in/nget/train-search. Passengers are requested to make use of the special train service.
