Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that from January 3rd, 2022; children in the age group of 15-18 will receive Covid vaccination. He announced the same during his address to the nation today.
The PM also announced that Healthcare and Frontline workers will be provided with Precautionary booster doses from January 10th, 2022.
Citizens above 60 years of age with co-morbidities will also have an option of taking the precautionary dose on the advice of their doctor starting from January 10th, 2022.
“Healthcare and Frontline workers have a huge contribution in keeping the country safe during the pandemic, therefore the government has decided to give precautionary vaccine doses to them” added PM Narendra Modi.
