Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pairwise Passenger, Cargo, and Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of May 2024.
According to the data released by DGCA, a total of 24,455 passengers travelled from Hubballi Airport, and around 24.7 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted from Hubballi Airport including Mail.
Delhi sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 9,275 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,987 passengers arrived and 4,288 passengers departed). Delhi sector contributed 16.9 tonnes of Cargo including mail.
8,026 passengers travelled to and from Bengaluru Airport (3,931 passengers arrived and 4,095 passengers departed). Bengaluru sector contributed 6.7 tonnes of Cargo including mail.
3,791 passengers travelled to and from Hyderabad (2,021 arriving passengers and 1,770 departing passengers). Hyderabad sector recorded 0.3 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
1,975 passengers travelled to and from Pune (1,095 arriving passengers and 880 departing passengers). Pune sector recorded 0.4 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
1,388 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (718 passengers arrived and 670 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 0.2 tonnes of Cargo including Mail as per DGCA.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential sectors like Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
