The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of June 2024. As per the report; 23,331 passengers used Hubballi Airport in the month of June 2024.
Hubballi Airport registered a 5.15% decrease as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 24,599 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of May 2024.
The airport handled 25 MT of Cargo in the month of June 2024. Hubballi had handled 24.1 MT of Cargo during May 2024. An increase of 3.73% in Cargo movements is observed.
The data on the flight movements has not yet been released by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). The airport registered 364 flight movements in the month of May 2024.
During the same month last year (June 2023), Hubli Airport had handled 498 flight movements and 30,761 passengers. The airport had handled 8 MT of Cargo during the same month.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Delhi and Mumbai sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Also, Indigo has restarted the Hubli Mumbai direct flight from July 15th. IndiGo had temporarily suspended the Hubballi Mumbai flight due to severe air congestion at Mumbai Airport. Details on it here.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
