North Western Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has started bookings for the Belagavi Nasik Ambaari Utsav bus starting from today.
Ambaari Utsav, operated by NWKRTC are European-style AC sleeper buses built on the Volvo 9600 series. The buses operated by KSRTC are receiving widespread appreciation from the commuters.
Belagavi to Nasik Ambaari Utsav departs Belagavi bus stand at 5:30 PM and reaches Nasik at 5:45 AM on the next day. En route, the bus stops at Sankeshwar and Nippani.
In the return direction, Nasik to Belagavi Ambaari Utsav bus departs Nasik bus stand 6:00 PM at and reaches Belagavi bus stand at 5:59 AM on the next day.
North Western Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) will get 4 such Ambaari Utsav buses. 2 of such buses have been allocated to Belagavi depot and 2 more will operate from Hubballi depot soon.
The buses feature Scandinavian design, and windows are designed to provide panoramic views to the passengers. Each bus has a total of 40 Sleeper berths.
The berths have a 1+2 combination with 20 Upper and 20 Lower berths (Total: 40 seats). The bus is equipped with a Volvo D8K engine delivering a torque of 1350 Nm at 1200-1600 RPM.

Each sleeping berth has enough headroom, 2 numbers of USB ports, AC vents, Reading lights, and a mobile holder. The buses are designed to provide excellent ride comfort to the passengers.
The buses also have Knee impact protection technology to enhance driver safety during unforeseen circumstances. The buses are likely to be another feather in the crown of NWKRTC.
