North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has decided to operate special package buses from Dharwad to tourist places around Dandeli and Gokak Falls.
NWKRTC has offered 2 different packages to choose from Dharwad. One of them is towards Dandeli and the other one is towards Gokak Falls. The details are as follows.
Dharwad to Dandeli package covers Dandeli Crocodile Park, Moulangi Falls, Kulgi Nature Park, Ulavi Channabasaveshwara temple and back to Dharwad.
Dharwad to Gokak Falls package tour covers Naviluteertha Dam, Sogala Kshetra, Gokak Waterfalls, Hidkal Dam and then returns to Dharwad.
NWKRTC has priced both package tours at ₹340 for Adults and ₹170 for Children from Dharwad. The fare includes to and fro charges. The schedule of buses is as follows.
Dharwad to Dandeli: The bus departs Dharwad at 7:30 AM, and proceeds towards Crocodile Park (Arrival 8:45 AM, Departure: 10:00 AM), Moulangi Falls (Arrival 10:20 AM, Departure: 11:20 AM), Kulgi Nature Park (Arrival 11:50 AM, Departure: 12:50 PM), Ulavi Temple (Arrival 2:00 PM, Departure: 4:00 PM) and returns to Dharwad at 7:00 PM.
Dharwad to Gokak Falls: The bus departs Dharwad at 7:30 AM, and proceeds towards Naviluteertha Dam (Arrival 9:00 AM, Departure: 10:15 AM), Sogala Kshetra (Arrival 11:00 AM, Departure: 11:45 AM), Gokak Falls (Arrival 1:00 PM, Departure: 12:50 PM), Hidkal Dam (Arrival 3:30 PM, Departure: 4:00 PM) and returns to Dharwad at 7:00 PM.
NWKRTC will operate these package tours every Sunday, every 2nd and 4th Saturday and Public holidays. The tickets on the same can be booked via KSRTC’s website https://ksrtc.in/oprs-web/.
