The much-awaited Hubballi Pune Vande Bharat Express is going to be a triweekly service. The first trip of Hubballi Pune Vande Bharat Express will start on September 18.
Train number 20669 Hubballi Pune Vande Bharat Express departs Hubballi at 5:00 AM on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reaches Pune at 1:30 PM on the same day.
En route, the train stops at Dharwad, Belagavi, Miraj, Sangli and Satara. The train will be operated by an 8-coach Vande Bharat Express rake (in Orange livery).
In the return direction, Train number 20670 Pune Hubballi Vande Bharat Express departs Pune at 2:15 PM on Thursday, Saturday and Monday and reaches Hubballi at 10:45 PM.
Hubballi Pune Vande Bharat Express has a rake-sharing arrangement with Train number 20673/74 Pune Kolhapur VB. Primary maintenance of both trains will be in Hubballi.
Union Minister and Dharwad MP Prahlad Joshi had written to the Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighting the need for Vande Bharat Express between Hubballi and Pune.
South Western Railway (SWR) is successfully running the Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Hubballi Dharwad. Hubballi Pune VB will be Hubballi Dharwad’s second VB.
