To facilitate the construction of the Rani Chennamma Circle flyover near Hubballi Old bus stand, the authorities have started demolishing/dismantling the HDBRTS bus stop.
As per the sources, the height of the BRTS stop will be lowered to the ground level. The BRTS stop at the Old bus stand is marginally higher than the Ground level.
HDBRTS has shifted the BRTS stop near Basava Vana next to the Glasshouse Circle. The temporary BRTS bus stand near Basava Vana has been made operational from March 17.
All the necessary elements like Platform level boarding and ticket counter have been provided at the temporary bus stop. Passengers are requested to note the changes.

Rani Chennamma Circle flyover, one of the important projects of Hubballi city is making constant progress. Construction of the flyover has now started near Old bus stand.
Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways laid the Foundation stone for the Construction of the flyover virtually around a year back (15th January 2021).
Construction of the Ramp from Hosur towards Old bus stand has started near Vani Vilas Circle and the Swimming pool complex. Excavation has started near the Eureka towers.
Hubballi Dharwad Bus Rapid Transit System (HDBRTS) is a rapid transport system built to serve the twin cities of Hubballi Dharwad. It was officially inaugurated by Vice President of India Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu on 2nd February 2020.
