There is some great news for the movie enthusiasts of Hubballi Dharwad! Hubballi has got its first 8-screen multiplex at Laxmi Mall, located at Coen Road.
Named as Laxmi City Pride Multiplex, the 8-screen multiplex located in the heart of the city is set to redefine the entertainment scene in Hubballi Dharwad twin cities.
The multiplex is equipped with 4K laser projection, immersive Dolby Atmos sound, bed loungers and recliner seats for ultimate comfort while watching the movie.
Laxmi City Pride Multiplex is the first multiplex in North Karnataka to feature 8 screens. The multiplex is also the first in the Hubballi city to feature Dolby Atmos experience.
Informing on their Instagram page, Laxmi Mall said, “Laxmi City Pride Multiplex brings you a cutting-edge cinema experience. Hubli’s entertainment scene will never be the same again!”
However, the bad news is that PVR Multiplex has closed down in Hubballi city. PVR used to operate a 4-screen Multiplex at the same location (Laxmi Mall, Coen Road).
But PVR is likely to re-enter Hubballi very soon. Inorbit Mall (previously Akshay Sky Mall), which is slated to open by the end of 2024, will have a 4 or 5-screen PVR multiplex.

At present, Cinepolis operates a five-screen Multiplex at Urban Oasis Mall. One Hubballi Mall (Sathyam Cinemas), Basant City Centre Mall, and a mall at the old Padma theatre will also have Multiplexes.
