There is some good news for the people of Hubballi Dharwad. Hubballi Airport has regained the 3rd Busiest Airport in Karnataka tag for the month of July 2024.
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pairwise Passenger, Cargo, and Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of July 2024.
According to the data released, a total of 26,647 passengers travelled from Hubballi Airport, and 29.8 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted from Hubballi Airport including Mail.
Delhi sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 8,231 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,107 passengers arrived and 4,124 passengers departed). Delhi sector contributed 18.8 tonnes of Cargo including mail.
7,617 passengers travelled to and from Bengaluru Airport (3,723 passengers arrived and 3,894 passengers departed). Bengaluru sector contributed 6.6 tonnes of Cargo including mail.
4,376 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai (2,121 arriving passengers and 2,255 departing passengers). Mumbai sector recorded 1.9 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
3,292 passengers travelled to and from Hyderabad (1,749 arriving passengers and 1,543 departing passengers). Hyderabad sector recorded 1.7 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
1,835 passengers travelled to and from Pune (1,024 arriving passengers and 811 departing passengers). Pune sector recorded 0.4 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
1,296 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (631 passengers arrived and 665 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 0.3 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Delhi and Mumbai sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Indigo has restarted the Hubli Mumbai direct flight from July 15th. IndiGo had temporarily suspended the Hubballi Mumbai flight due to severe air congestion at Mumbai Airport. Details on it here.
