Hubballi Airport, the third busiest airport of Karnataka was decorated with colorful lights to mark New year’s eve and to welcome the New year 2023.
Recently, Hubballi Airport was adjudged as the Best Airport in Karnataka (among mid-sized airports) as far as the Customer Satisfaction is concerned.
Hubballi Airport has bagged 15th place among 56 Airports in India. The airport has secured a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) of 4.79 making it the best airport in Karnataka.
Improving the aesthetics and decorating the airports is part of the Airport Authority of India AAI’s commitment to providing a pleasant experience to travellers.
Recently, Hubballi Airport has managed to regain 3rd position as far as the number of passengers is concerned. The addition of Delhi flight has helped Hubballi to increase the passenger count.
Airport Authority of India has released Air traffic statistics for the month of November 2022. As per the reports; 30,642 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of November 2022.
Hubballi Airport registered a whopping increase of 25.79% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 24,359 passengers had used Hubballi Airport during October 2022.
Also, As per the National Monetization Pipeline (NMP), Hubballi Airport has been earmarked for Leasing by 2025. Hubballi Airport is the only Airport in Karnataka selected for the same.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa flights and starting new flights to Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Pune, etc.
