South Western Railway (SWR) is running Hubballi Ahmedabad Special Express train (Train 07311) and Ahmedabad Hubballi (Train 07312) on March 24 and March 25 respectively.
Both the trains have gone into waiting list on all classes including AC coaches. It goes to show the demand of connection between the two commercial hubs of Karnataka and Gujarat.
Train number 07312 (Ahmedabad Hubballi Special) is showing a waiting list of 78 (WL78) on sleeper coaches. It is WL41 for 3-tier AC and WL11 for 2-tier AC coaches.
As of now, Train number 07311 (Hubballi Ahmedabad Special) is showing a waiting list of 19 (WL 19) on sleeper coaches. It is WL17 for 3-tier AC and WL6 for 2-tier AC coaches.
Train number 07311 Hubballi Ahmedabad special train departs Hubballi Railway Station at 7:30 PM on March 24 and reaches Ahmedabad junction at 7:20 PM on the next day.
En route, the train stops at Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Ghataprabha, Miraj, Sangli, Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand and terminates at Ahmedabad.
Train number 07312 Ahmedabad Hubballi Special train departs Ahmedabad Railway Station at 9:25 PM on March 25 and reaches SSS Hubballi junction at 7:45 PM on the next day.

All the trains running between Hubballi and Ahmedabad are found with huge waiting lists. Many associations have been demanding a dedicated train between the two cities.
