Announcing the same on his social media, Pralhad Joshi said that “The addition of daily flight to Pune has given a big boost to the Air connectivity of Hubballi Airport“.
IndiGo had started direct flight to Pune with a frequency of 2 days/week on February 4, 2023. Based on the response, IndiGo has decided to increase the frequency to daily from March 11.
The schedule of flight is as follows: Hubballi to Pune flight (6E-7727) leaves Hubballi Airport (HBX) at 6:30 PM and reaches Pune Airport (PNQ) at 7:35 PM.

Hubballi Airport is now the third busiest airport in Karnataka. The airport which managed to serve 32,469 passengers in January 2023, is likely to get few additional flights from Summer schedule.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of Ahmedabad, Kochi and Goa flights and start new flights to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kolkata, etc.
Earlier, regional airline Star Air had won bids to operate Hubli to Pune direct flight under Udan-2 (Ude Desh ke Aam Nagrik) scheme. But the airline didn’t start the flight.
