Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released Winter Schedule 2024 for Domestic flight operations in India. The schedule has been a mixed bag for Hubballi Airport.
There is some good news as well as some bad news for the people of Hubballi Dharwad. The changes in the schedule, addition and cancellation of flights are as follows.
Good news: Fly91, a regional carrier headquartered in Goa has come forward to operate Agatti (Lakshadweep), Hyderabad, Goa and Belagavi flights from the Hubballi Airport.
Fly91 had applied for the slots to operate the above-mentioned flights from Hubballi Airport. DGCA has granted slots for them in the Winter Schedule 2024.
Bad news: IndiGo has completely stopped operating Chennai flights from Hubballi Airport. The airline used to operate Chennai flights 3 days/week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
Apart from it, IndiGo will continue to operate 2x daily flights to Bengaluru, Daily flights to Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and 4 times/week flights to Pune (Sun, Mon, Wed and Fri).
The people of Hubballi-Dharwad have once again been overlooked by the airlines on Hubballi to Ahmedabad flight. Hubballi deserves a direct flight to Ahmedabad at the earliest.

DGCA’s Winter Schedule 2024 will be effective from 29th October 2024 to 30th March 2024. IndiGo continues to remain the lone operator from Hubballi Airport (As of now).
