Continuing its partnership with academia, Aequs Private Limited signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with IIT Dharwad for cutting-edge research in new Manufacturing technologies.
As per the understanding, both firms will participate in the Research and Development of new Manufacturing Technologies, Testing and Talent exchange.
The joint research initiative will leverage the world-class research talent and cutting-edge infrastructure at IIT, Dharwad one of the premier educational institutions in North Karnataka.
The trained professionals from the Advanced Technology Products (ATP) vertical of Aequs Private Limited will provide real-world use cases for the research talent of IIT Dharwad.
ATP at Hubballi and IIT Dharwad will conduct Material Analysis using sophisticated equipment like Scanning Electron Microscopes and Spectroscopy machines.
The outcome of the research will be used to develop state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The MoU between the two parties was signed on Wednesday (20th March 2024).
The MoU was also signed with the aim of facilitating and guiding joint projects and internships as well as sharing the available resources and incubation facilities.

Vikas Goel (President ATP), Dr Guttal Ravi (CTO, Senior VP Aequs), Prof Venkappayya R Desai (Director of IIT, Dharwad) and other officials from Aequs and IIT Dharwad were present.
