Construction of Jayadeva Hospital Hubballi in full swing

Cardiac healthcare in the North Karnataka region will receive a significant boost with the ongoing construction of Jayadeva Hospital of Cardiovascular Sciences in Hubballi.

Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Hospital is a government-run institute exclusively for Cardiac care known for providing treatment at an affordable cost.

The hospital is located at Anand Nagar next to the Rayanal Lake. As of now, the third floor of the main building is under construction. The construction of the same started in May 2023.

The government had identified 9.36 acres of land near the Leprosy Hospital at Anand Nagar in Hubballi. The 350-bed facility will be built at a cost of ₹250 Crores. The floor plan of the same is as shown here.

The Hubballi Hospital for the Handicapped (Leprosy Hospital) and the Rehabilitation centre had been completely demolished to make way for the Jaydeva Hospital in Hubballi.

September 2024 Update: Jayadeva Hospital Hubli

Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pooja (Foundation stone laying ceremony) for the Construction of Jayadeva Hospital in Hubballi on March 12, 2023.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had announced Jayadeva Hospital of Cardiovascular Sciences to Hubballi during the Karnataka Budget session for the year 2022-23.

Until now, the Northwest part of Karnataka was deprived of good cardiovascular healthcare facilities. The Hubballi unit of Jayadeva Hospital is likely to fill the gap.

Jayadeva Hospital already has an 1150-bed facility in Bengaluru. The hospital also has its presence in Kalaburgi and Mysuru with a bed capacity of 350 and 400 respectively.
