North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has decided to operate special buses to the world famous Jogfalls. The buses will operate from New Bus Stand, Hubballi.
NWKRTC has decided to operate Volvo Multi Axle bus (Airavatha Club Class) and Rajahamsa executive class bus from Hubballi to Jog Falls via Sirsi Marikamba temple.
The trip also includes a halt at Sirsi Marikamba temple for a while. Visitors can take a moment to visit the temple and offer their prayers. The bus then continues its journey towards Jogfalls.
NWKRTC has priced it at ₹430 for Rajahamsa bus and ₹600 for Airavatha Club Class from Hubballi. The fare includes to and fro charges. The schedule of buses is as follows.
Rajahamsa: The bus departs Hubballi at 7:30 AM and reaches Jogfalls around 11:55 AM. Visitors can enjoy the views of Jogfalls till 5:00PM. The bus departs from Jogfalls at 5:00PM and reaches Hubballi New Bus Stand at 9:30PM.
Airavatha Club Class: The bus departs Hubballi at 8:00 AM and reaches Jog falls around 12:00PM. Visitors can enjoy the views of Jogfalls till 5:00PM. The bus departs from Jogfalls at 5:00PM and reaches Hubballi New Bus Stand at 9:00PM.
NWKRTC will operate the Jog falls bus service on every Sunday and public holidays. The tickets on the same can be booked via KSRTC’s website https://ksrtc.in/oprs-web/.
Jog falls is a one of the most visited tourist attractions in Karnataka. The river Sharavati falls from a height of 830 feet making it the Second highest Waterfall in India. The water falls in four cascades namely Raja, Rani, Roller and Rocket.
