7 researchers from Hubballi among top 2% scientists in the world

Seven faculty members from KLE Technological University in Hubballi have been recognized in the prestigious Stanford University Top 2% Scientists List-2024 for the fifth consecutive year.

The esteemed list, prepared in collaboration with Elsevier, uses a comprehensive methodology based on key metrics such as Publications, Citations, H-index, and Co-authorship adjusted HM-Index.

The ranking also depends on the composite score across 22 scientific disciplines. The honored researchers from KLE Technological University, Hubballi, are as follows.

Prof. Tejraj Aminabhavi, Dr. Nagaraj Shetti, Dr. Mohanakrishna Gunda, Dr. Shweta Malode, Prof. Prabhugouda M. Patil, Prof. Vinayak Gaitonde and Prof. Nagaraj Banapurmath.

The selection is based on the top 100,000 researchers by c-score or those in the top 2% globally. The list covers two categories: the single-year list (for 2024 impact) and the career list, which reflects the lifetime impact of scientific contributions.

The faculty members from KLE Tech who are part of 14,879 Indian scientists have made it to the global ranking, which features 2,23,153 researchers from around the world in the 2024 single-year list.

Among them, Prof. Tejraj Aminabhavi and Dr. Nagaraj Shetti have been internationally recognized for five consecutive years, much to the university’s delight.

Prof. Vinayak Gaitonde, Prof. Nagaraj Banapurmath, Prof. Prabhugouda Patil, Dr. Mohanakrishna Gunda, and Dr. Shweta Malode have achieved this honor for four years in succession.

Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman of KLE Society, expressed immense pride in the researchers’ achievements, noting that their contributions elevate KLE Tech’s standing on a global platform.

Dr. Ashok Shettar, Pro-Chancellor, and Dr. Prakash Tewari, Vice-Chancellor of KLE Technological University, along with deans, department heads, faculty, and staff, congratulated the researchers on their outstanding accomplishment.
