Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pair wise Air Traffic Statistics Hubballi Airport for the month of October 2022.
According to the data released, a total of 23,780 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport and around 1.6 Tonnes of Cargo and 2.5 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.
Bengaluru sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 8,732 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,344 passengers arrived and 4,388 passengers departed).
Bengaluru sector also contributed the highest cargo shipment from Hubballi Airport. A total of 2.3 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted including 1.6 Tonnes of Mail.
3,929 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (2,024 passengers arrived and 1,905 passengers departed). Mumbai sector recorded 0.7 tonnes of Cargo movement.
3,777 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,771 passengers arrived and 2,006 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 1 tonne of Cargo including 0.6 tonnes of mail.
Hyderabad sector had 1,915 arriving passengers and 2,037 departing passengers including 0.1 tonnes of Cargo. Hindon (Delhi) sector had 653 arriving passengers and 721 departing passengers from HBX.
Mangalore sector saw 682 arriving passengers and 655 departing passengers. Mysuru sector had 293 arriving passengers and 386 departing passengers from HBX.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential sectors like Pune, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
