Swarna Group donates 5 Oxygen Concentrators to Railway Hospital

Hubballi Division of South Western Railway (SWR) has received five Oxygen Concentrators of 10 Litres Per Minute Flow Capacity each by Shri VSV Prasad, MD of Swarnaa Group for the use of Railway Hospital Hubballi. These Oxygen Concentrators are imported from Germany.

While receiving the Oxygen Concentrators for the Railway Hospital, Dr. Vilas Gunda, thanked Shri VSV Prasad, MD of Swarna Group, for his contribution. The Hospital treats Railway staff who are at the forefront in maintaining the supply chain of essential commodities even during the lockdown.

Railway Hospital at Hubballi is a designated Covid Hospital and has been treating Covid patients since 2020. It has treated more than 1500 Covid patients so far including Non-Railway beneficiaries.

General Manager, SWR Shri Gajanan Mallya has appreciated the gesture of Shri VSV Prasad, Swarnaa Group to contribute Oxygen Concentrators at the time of need of the Railway Hospital.

Swarnaa Group has donated the equipments under the CSR initiative. Dr. Vilas Gunda, Principal Chief Medical Director, SWR; Shri Harishankar Verma, Principal Chief Operations Manager, SWR; Shri Aravind Malkhede, Divisional Railway Manager, Hubballi Division were present o­n the occasion.
