Hubballi’s first Multi-level Parking Complex is getting ready

Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited (HDSCL) is constructing a Smart Multi-Level Parking Complex (MLCP) at Court Circle, opposite Sai Baba temple in Hubballi City.

As of now, the basement part of the complex has been constructed, and the work is going on for the Ground floor. The project is being executed at the cost of ₹50 Crores.

The overall built-up area of the project is around 1,22,500 Sq ft. In that 35,000 Sq.ft of space will be used for commercial purposes. It is being executed on DBFOT basis.

Construction of the Multi-level Parking Complex was started around March 2020. But the work is going on at a snail’s pace. The entire project is likely to take another 18 to 24 months.

Features of the Project: The project will include Smart card-based entry for Vehicles, Public Bicycle Sharing, and Digital billboards for Advertisements to increase revenue.

The Multi-Level Car Parking Complex will accommodate 290 cars at once. Each slot of the car will be designed in a way that accommodates 3 bikes.

25% of the complex will be covered with a Vertical garden, and another 25% of the area will have Digital billboards. Parking sensors, Boom barricades, and Automatic Ticket vending kiosks will be part of the project.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has instructed the HDSCL officials to complete all the Smart City projects within a year from now.
