Here is some good news for air travellers using Hubballi Airport. Hubballi Airport will get few more flights (on new sectors) under DGCA Summer Schedule 2021. DGCA has released the schedule yesterday i.e on 30th March 2021. The schedule is tentative and Airlines can make necessary changes as per demand and requirement.
As per DGCA Summer Schedule 2021, Hubballi Airport will get additional direct flights to Mangalore and Hyderabad along with frequency increase in some sectors. A detailed schedule of flights is given below.
Hubli to Mangalore Flight – Alliance Air
Alliance Air will connect Hubballi with Mangalore (for the first time!) with an ATR-72 aircraft. The flight 9I 525 will arrive at 1:35 PM from Mangalore and depart at 2:15 PM. The schedule is applicable from 28th March 2021. However, Alliance Air is yet to open bookings.
Hubli to Hyderabad Flight – Alliance Air
Alliance Air will also make Hubballi – Hyderabad flight daily as per DGCA Summer Schedule 2021. At present, Alliance Air is operating Hubli to Hyderabad flight 3 days a week (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday). 9I 879 will arrive at 8:00AM from Hyderabad and depart at 8:20AM to Hyderabad.
Hubli to Hyderabad Flight – IndiGo
As per DGCA Summer Schedule 2021, IndiGo will also be starting a direct Hubli to Hyderabad flight from June 1st, 2021. However IndiGo is yet to open bookings for the same. The flight 6E-7207 will depart Hyderabad at 6:15 AM.
Hubli to Bangalore Flight – Air India
Air India will re-introduce the Hubballi-Bengaluru sector from May 1, 2021 as per DGCA Summer Schedule 2021. Air India will deploy Airbus A319 for the same. The flight will operate 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday). AI 507 will depart Bengaluru at 12:00 PM.
Hubli to Mumbai Flight – Air India
Air India is likely to introduce direct Hubli to Mumbai flight from May 2nd, 2021. Air India will deploy A319 on 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday) and A320 on the remaining days. However, bookings are opened only 4 days as per the Air India website.
To sum it up, Hubballi will get a direct connection to Mangalore for the first time. IndiGo will start direct Hubli to Hyderabad flight. Air India will re-introduce the Hubballi-Bengaluru sector and increase the frequency of the Hubballi-Mumbai sector. Apart from it, all the other existing flights will continue to operate with no changes.
However, The schedule is tentative and Airlines can make necessary changes as per demand and requirement. Additional flights can be added apart from the schedule and the airlines can choose not to start few sectors. Its up to airlines to take decision in this regard.
