Dharwad roads spruced up for National Youth Festival

Few roads in Dharwad are being spruced up, all thanks to the National Youth festival organized in Hubballi Dharwad.

Roads nearby Karnataka college, Karnataka University and other parts earmarked for the events of the National Youth Festival are getting a fresh coat of Asphalt.

Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has undertaken the task of cleaning the roads. HDMC has also undertaken cleaning of the Parks and Lakes of Dharwad city.

The National Youth festival has become a blessing to the Dharwad citizens. The roads which barely saw asphalt in the recent past are finally getting asphalted.

Central government in association with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has organized the National Youth festival in Hubballi Dharwad from January 12th to January 16th, 2023.

The festival has been organized to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Over 7,500 artists across India will participate in various events to showcase their Arts and Culture.

Venues selected for various events of National Youth festival: KUD Rani Chennamma stadium, KUD Green garden, Kelageri Lake Dharwad, Railway Sports Ground.

Karnataka University Dharwad Golden jubilee hall, University of Agricultural Sciences A/C Hall, Karnataka College Dharwad (KCD) ground, and Srujana Ranga Mandira.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Youth Festival in Hubballi. The program will be held in Railway ground, Hubballi where preparations are underway on war footing.
