Dharwad district has reported the highest ever cases in a single day i.e 379 fresh cases. Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the Dharwad district, and the active cases is nearing the 2,000 mark. Dharwad district is witnessing a rise in fresh cases for the past two weeks.
According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Dharwad district reported 379 fresh Covid-19 cases. 96 patients have recovered and fortunately, no deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Karnataka reported 23,558 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 13,640 fresh cases. 6,412 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 116 deaths have been reported. Bengaluru alone reported 70 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Tumakuru, Mysuru, Kalaburagi, and Bellary reported 700+ fresh Covid cases. And Bengaluru Rural reported 544 fresh cases. At present, India is experiencing the second wave of Covid-19. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases is increasing day by day. It is expected that India might reach the peak by the May 2nd week.
