Cold wave has gripped several parts of North Karnataka. Dharwad district has recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8°C, the coldest in the state.
According to the data published by India Meteorological Department (IMD Bengaluru), Dharwad recorded a maximum temperature of 24.6°C (Even that is coldest in the state!) and a minimum of 10.8°C.

- Bengaluru 29.0°C – 16.5°C
- Mangaluru 31.0°C – 18.4°C
As many as 17 districts reported a dip in the minimum temperature, and 15 districts reported a dip in the maximum temperature. The cold wave is likely to continue for a few more days.
