South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to speed up Train number 20661/20662 Bengaluru Dharwad Vande Bharat Express from the 7th of October 2023.
The timings have been revised at SSS Hubballi and Yeshwantpur Railway Stations. The timings at all other railway stations along the route remain unchanged.
Train number 20661 KSR Bengaluru Dharwad Vande Bharat Express will arrive/depart SSS Hubballi Railway Station at 11:00/11:05 AM instead of 11:30/11:35 AM.
In the return direction, Train number 20662 Dharwad Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will arrive/depart Yeshwantpura Railway Station at 6:58/7:00 PM instead of 7:13/7:15 PM.
Earlier, the train was scheduled to arrive/depart SSS Hubballi junction Railway Station at 11:30/11:35 AM. So, the train has been speeded up by around 30 minutes.
Though the train was scheduled to arrive at Hubballi Railway Station at 11:30 AM, the train used to arrive at Hubballi around 11:00 AM, 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
As the train used to depart Hubballi Railway Station at 11:35 AM, the people who booked the train to Dharwad were forced to wait in the train unnecessarily for around 35 minutes.
Earlier, the train used to arrive at Dharwad Railway Station around 12:00 PM. After speeding up, the train is expected to reach Dharwad Railway Station at 11:30 or 11:40 AM.
