Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pair wise Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of November 2022.
According to the data released, a total of 29,493 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport and around 0.8 Tonnes of Cargo and 1.5 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.
Bengaluru sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 8,882 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,354 passengers arrived and 4,528 passengers departed).
Bengaluru sector also contributed the highest cargo shipment from Hubballi Airport. A total of 1.1 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted including 0.8 Tonnes of Mail.
5,722 passengers travelled to and from Delhi Airport (2,912 passengers arrived and 2,810 passengers departed). Delhi sector is operated by 186 seater Airbus A320 aircraft.
4,402 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (2,238 passengers arrived and 2,164 passengers departed). Mumbai sector recorded 0.1 tonnes of Cargo movement.
3,661 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,802 passengers arrived and 1.859 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 0.8 tonnes of Cargo including 0.7 tonnes of mail.
Hyderabad sector had 2,053 arriving passengers and 1,695 departing passengers. Hindon (Delhi) sector had 649 arriving passengers and 573 departing passengers from Hubballi.
Mangalore sector saw 544 arriving passengers and 897 departing passengers. Mysuru sector had 170 arriving passengers and 245 departing passengers from HBX.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential sectors like Pune, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
